This guidance has now been superseded by comprehensive guidance prepared and published by Health Facilities Scotland and can be downloaded via the link below.

Single-bed room provision in NHSScotland

Interim guidance on single room provision in NHSScotland which appeared here has now been superseded by CEL 27 (2010) which provides a policy stance on the provision of single bed accommodation and bed spacing. Please see Asset Management section for more information.
